Diversity in Bioeconomy
Diversity in the Bioeconomy is an in-person event in Galway City with the aim to create a platform for networking among the diverse range of people that work in the bioeconomy sector in Ireland. Firstly, through shining a spotlight on entrepreneurs, researchers and experts who are advancing the Irish bioeconomy enhancing our economic competitiveness on the global stage. This will be followed by an interactive discussion with panelists and an opportunity to build relationships with others in the bioeconomy sector.
The Laurentic Forum 2022
The 2022 Laurentic Forum is the first in-person conference in three years! Gather with policy insiders, experts and stakeholders exploring the rapidly changing and expanding areas of the blue bioeconomy and tourism from Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Ireland, Iceland and North Norway.
Marine Resources Programme
Teagasc, Nua na Mara and Údarás na Gaeltachta are organising a 4 part Marine Resources Programme. This programme focuses on utilising the resources in the marine sector, such as seaweed and fisheries by-product to generate value added products beyond food and feed applications. World Class researchers, experts and industry personnel will deliver these informational sessions to those of you with an interest in the circular blue economy, new value added products and applications, and waste to value applications.
This series occurs online for 3 sessions and a final session will be held at Teagasc Ashtown, where participants will have the opportunity to tour the facilities.
